Today was my daughter's birthday and she requested Alaskan King Crab and garlic mashed potatoes for dinner. I added steamed carrots and snow peas to the list, but a heavy meal like that reminds me why I don't/shouldn't eat like that on a regular basis! I went for a 3.25 mile run tonight and I felt SO heavy. I am really trying to increase my speed but I haven't trained (or even run more than THREE times) since a sprint triathlon I did in August 2009. I averaged 9.16 mins per miles. I am optimistic, but realize I've got a lot of progress to make this year. |
